I am Frans Varjonen — a Finnish photographer and videographer. My work spans from sports to events and festivals across the globe. Whether it’s the focus before a faceoff, or the atmosphere of a packed music festival, I aim to capture the moments that make life unforgettable.

Photography has given me the opportunity to work with some of Finland’s leading clubs and organizations, and to create content that connects athletes, teams, and fans. I approach every shoot with precision and attention to detail — but I also stay ready for the unscripted moments that make the best images.

Beyond the lens, a dedicated athlete myself. I serve as the captain of TPS P15, competing at the highest level of Finnish floorball in my age group. I train multiple times daily through a mix of team practices, gym work, and individual sessions, building not only my physical ability but also leadership skills and mental resilience.

My athletic journey has taken me to Finnish national team camps, where I have been able to test myself against the country’s best players and learn from top-level coaches. Competing in this environment has taught me the value of preparation, focus, and consistency — lessons that I bring into every area of my life.

Being an athlete gives me a unique perspective when I’m behind the camera. I understand what it feels like to step onto the field, the pressure of a close game, and the quiet moments before a big play. This insight allows me to anticipate the action and capture moments that are both powerful and authentic. The same discipline and drive that fuel my sports career shape the way I work as a creative professional.
