my story

I’m Frans Varjonen, a 14-year-old photographer and filmmaker.

This all started by accident — I took a few photos on my phone at my little brother’s hockey game, and I couldn’t stop after that.

Everything I do is self-taught, built through hours of shooting, editing, and learning by doing. I shoot because I like freezing the feeling of a moment — not just how it looked, but what it felt like to be there.

Most of my work lives where things actually happen: sports, events, people, and brands. I’m drawn to honest situations, natural light, and the small details you only notice afterwards. My style stays clean and minimal, but I still want every image to have energy — the kind you feel even without a caption.

I’ve had the chance to create content for example TPS Floorball and SHIFT Business Festival, as well as different teams, events, associations, and people around the globe. No matter the project, I try to be easy to work with, focused on the job, and consistent from shoot to delivery.

Outside the camera world, I train daily as a competitive floorball athlete and captain of TPS P15. That’s a big part of who I am, and it shapes how I work: I show up prepared, I stay calm when things move fast, and I don’t rely on “luck” to get the shot.

If you have a project where you want the end result to feel strong, natural, and visually clean, I’d love to hear about it.
